"When we play football, dialogue flows through the game, not through words. In politics, they see the conflict as a one dimensional problem to be solved through rules and regulations.
Politicians just talk and argue, in football we actually get to meet each other, have conversations, and really get to know the other side. If more Palestinians and Israelis were able to meet each other like we can, peace could become a reality.
Our project stands for something special- a clear message that Israelis and Palestinians can get along-and we are doing it together, as one unit. We are role models. I hope that people will value what we are doing, learn from it, and copy it."

BACK
"Peace is possible in the world we live in today, sport unites us; it doesn't separate us.
Our project shows the whole world that Palestinians and Israelis live together, that they can be friends and allies, despite what other people say.
My love for sport is like breathing, I cannot live without it. My dream is to become a famous football player. I want to establish football clubs for disadvantaged and mentally challenged children."
